Symbio North America Corporation is setting up its first manufacturing line in Temecula, California, which is expected to be fully operational by 2024. The company has also been awarded funding by the California Energy Commission to expand its manufacturing capacity for assembling fuel cell vehicles.
Our 32,000 square-foot facility will produce regional heavy-duty fuel cell trucks (Class 8), medium-duty fuel cell vehicles, and fuel cell power systems. Over the next three years, it will create more than 60 permanent, skilled manufacturing jobs.
The facility will eventually have the capacity to produce up to 250 trucks and 2,000 fuel cell power systems annually, helping to speed up the roll-out of hydrogen-powered, zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles in California.
