Established in 2010, Symbio is now a joint venture between Michelin and Faurecia. Thanks to our collaborators, we are developing our activities in a highly competitive environment.

Today, we are looking for our Engineering Change Project Manager who will be based in Lyon, France. The engineering change project leader is in charge of deploying within engineering all new design methodologies and processes in coordination with engineering staff and managers, with main objectives to improve engineering efficiency and to reply to OEM engineering process requirements.

As such, in consistency with the engineering improvement plan, he will define, schedule, and lead necessary activities to conduct the implementation of new methods or processes. He will define the appropriate project team, and develop adapted partnership should external expertise would be needed.

He will report to engineering director in charge of core engineering.

Your main responsibilities will be :

Drive engineering change projects with focus on target

Built and manage project team in collaboration with relative managers in consistency with project targets

Organize necessary meetings and reportings

Alert in case of blocking point, look for and propose alternative plans and solutions

Define and follow project budget and planning.

Prepare and present investment request in investment committee

Participate to the definition of engineering improvement plan.

Benchmark engineering methods and processes to propose adapted solution for Symbio

In particular, 1^st detailed missions are the following:

• Conduct implementation of robust requirement traceability process and associated tool deployment (DOORS NG)
• Conduct A-Spice transformation plan with target level 12/2024 and level 2 12/2025

Qualifications and skills : 🥇

Theorical knowledge to be mastered Product développement, Project management, change management

Successful experience as a System Engineer, Software Engineer, or Team Manager

Strong crossfunctional leadership

Knowledge of DOORS NG ans A-SPICE
