SYMBIO is THE FAURECIA MICHELIN Hydrogen Company : One of the major actor in the future of zero emission mobility !

Our hyper-growth company designs Hydrogen Systems that can be integrated into several types of electric vehicles. The joint venture permits Symbio to grow and the aim is to develop three industrial sites supplying the world's main automotive markets: Europe, Asia and the United States.

As the only zero emission solution that complements battery-powered electric cars, hydrogen technology is essential in accelerating the deployment of electromobility and addressing its three major challenges: improving air quality, reducing CO2 emissions and the energy transition.

Today, Symbio is searching for a Cost Engineer Intern or Apprentice. Under mentorship of our Lead Costing Expert, you will play a key role in enhancing Symbio's Cost Engineering capabilities. These will help our Engineering and Purchasing teams deliver cost-optimized Hydrogen Fuel Cell systems.

Purpose of the job

• Establish technical definition for costing purposes for Bought-out parts [work with Costing and Engineering]

• Work on initiating and building our intelligence : material databases, generic component cost models, reference regional costs

• Collect quotes from suppliers and compare activity.

Your profile ! 🥇

• Engineering background (Bachelor level or more)
• Good level in English and French
• Knowledge of a CAD Software (ideally CATIA)
• You have advanced skills on Excel
• You are flexible and like to bring new ideas to improve what is implemented
