Established in 2010, Symbio is now a joint venture 50/50 between Michelin and Faurecia. Thanks to our collaborators, we are developing our activities in a highly competitive environment.

Today, we are looking for our Electronic Resident Engineer M/F who will be located in Russelsheim, Germany.

You’ll need to work with Symbio and the customer to support operations and tests, analyze data and work on the fuel cell system.

Missions :

Support the fuel cell system (FCS) operations :

• Assemble, disassemble and start the fuel cell system
• Make diagnosis basic issues and react/adapt the SW
• Flash new S/W versions on fuel cell system CU and assure their start-up
• Debugg H/W issues on FCS

Support FCS Testing :

• Attend vehicules tests
• Analyse data and do diagnosis, check FCS limitations and uses
• Perform preliminary onsite root cause and quality analysis
• Write test quick report to feed back office team for deep analysis
• Realize minor repairs at FCS level

Candidate profile :

• Engineering degree, with a specialization in electronics/automation/software
• An experience of 8 years minimum in the automotive sector
• Strong technical knowledge and how to perform diagnosis in cars, especially embedded systems
• Ability to repair, disassemble, reassemble systems and persevere in finding the root causes of problems
• A first experience in the fuel cell industry would be a plus
• Being able to communicate easily with customers
• Being Fluent in German and English, French is a plus
